Dear, dear diary, where to start?
I think I suffer from a troubled heart
Let me share my theories,
they come in three parts
First of all, I doubt myself
Second one is that I tend to dwell
Third is I'm lonely as hell
What a mess, I'm sorry
It really took me all this time
To confess my mental crimes
But I think I'm ready now
So let me introduce you to my mind
Meet my insecurit ies
Let's count in one, two, three
Not smart, not pretty like a star
Not weak, not tough,
not nearly good enough
Meet my insecurities
Let's count in 1, 2, 3
Not small, not skinny like a dog
Not sleek, not rough,
not nearly good enough
Mirror, mirror, mirror, mirror on the wall
I get anxious when I alcohol
Can't you see my agony?
Or don't you care at all?
All they ever say is to love yourself
But is it wrong to
lack some confidence?
I know they can feel it too,
we all do
I'm sorry it took me all this time
To confess my mental highs
But I think I'm ready now
So let me introduce you to my mind
Meet my insecurities
Let's count in one, two, three
Not smart, not pretty like a star
Not weak, not tough,
not nearly good enough
Beat my insecurities
Let's count in one, two, three
Not small, not skinny like a dog
Not sleek, not rough,
not nearly good enough
Don't know where to start
It's like they're crawling
down beneath
Under my skin
Seems like all they want
Feed off my confidence again
But I won't let them win
Meet my insecurities
Let's count in one, two, three
Not smart, not pretty like a star
Not weak, not tough,
not nearly good enough
Meet my insecurities
Let's count in one, two, three
Not small, not skinny like a dog
Not sleek, not rough, not nearly good enough
