Good morning, sisters and brothers.
My sermon this morning is about sin.
And to begin with, I just want to say this.
Sin without reason is out of season,
and while it might be pleasing,
it is treason.
From the first chapter, verses 7 and 11,
I will now try to make my point.
Sin ain't me.
And to prove it,
it says right here in the book,
and I quote, Abram took Rachel
into the garden of Egypt
and gave her wine and nectar.
So listen to what I have to say
regarding sin.
It's amalgamation, consolidation,
and not forgetting a few donations.
If the motive is right, it ain't no sin.
If the motive is right, you gotta win.
Got a message for you, brother,
so get yourself set.
You've been mistreating women,
folks,
and that's something I regret.
I want you to know I'm for women,
yeah, as many as I can get.
Listen to the reverend
and you can't go wrong.
If the motive is right, it ain't no sin
If the motive is right, jack you in
Go baptize you with champagne
instead of using water
Go take care of the farmers
just like I oughta
Yeah, go take care of the farmers
and the farmer's daughter
Listen to the reverend
and you can't go wrong
If the motive is right
It ain't no sin, if the motive is right,
show your grin.
Brothers gamblin' and sinnin',
why go throwin' away
your wealth.
I'm gonna close up all
the gamblin' joints
and put them on the shelf.
Yeah, I'm gonna close them all up
and open one myself.
Listen to the reverend
and you can't go wrong,
if the motive is right.
It ain't no sin, if the motive is right,
drink your gin.
Go save all the bad boys
and show them what's right.
Save all the bad girls
and show them the light.
Yeah, go save all the bad girls
and one for Saturday night.
Listen to the reverend
and you can't go wrong.
